Prof. Miao Yan holds the positions of Professor and Vice President at the Second Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, China. In 2023, he was appointed as the Director of Education at the International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT) where he has served as a Councilor since 2019. Additionally, he chairs the Young Scientist Committee at the Division of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Chinese Pharmacological Society (CHINA-TDM), and holds a councilor position at the Chinese Toxicology Society. His research focuses on therapeutic drug monitoring and clinical toxicology, particularly personalized treatments for special patient groups using anti-infective drugs such as voriconazole, meropenem, and polymyxin. Targeting populations such as renal transplant recipients, patients with hepatic impairment, and ICU patients, his research has resulted in over 20 published papers.
