Prof. Yang Wang (Beijing, China)

Prof. Yang Wang is a Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, China Agricultural University, and serves as the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Animal-derived Bacterial Resistance Monitoring, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He has been honored with the title High-Level Talent by the Chinese Ministry of Education, awarded the Excellent Young Scientist Fund by NSFC, and received the inaugural Outstanding Young Graduate Mentor Award. His research focuses on antimicrobial resistance. Prof. Wang has published over 150 papers in esteemed journals such as Lancet Infectious Diseases and Nature Microbiology. He leads two major projects, including the 14th Five-Year National Key R&D Program and key NSFC project. Prof. Wang holds prominent roles in various associations and journals. He serves as the President of the Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Executive Editor of One Health Advances and the Chinese Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Editor of the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, and is an Editorial Board Member of Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy. Additionally, he is a Youth Corresponding Expert in Agriculture for the journal Engineering.
